My Approach
Cedric's approach to therapy is integrative; pulling from among varied approaches one that will best suit the clients' needs.
While working with children and younger people, Cedric involves their parents in regular meetings. This inclusive arrangement allows parents the opportunity to share insights, discuss problematic areas, review progress and participate in the transformative change.
Cedric is involved in therapeutic and transformational work with both individual, couples and groups. Besides his experience in individual and family counselling, he also conducts campus outreach sessions for students.
For those in the corporate sector, Cedric can support people development by offering different models and approaches by which employees are both enabled and empowered to develop new options in their transformative journey.
Cedric Dsouza also has an interest in refugee education and has travelled to Afghanistan, with the Jesuit Refugee Services (JRS). He helped in promoting higher education at Herat University in 2006.
Academically, Cedric is a Clinical Psychologist and currently pursuing his Masters in Educational Sciences at the University of Szeged. He works as a visiting faculty at institutions offering under-graduate and post-graduate subjects in this field.
Based in Pune, Cedric is open to work with clients in various locations and even works through virtual platforms to connect with clients in India and across the globe.
As a Consulting Psychologist at Brose Excellence in Mechatronics, I work with professionals in high-pressure, technical environments, offering psychological support to enhance mental well-being, manage stress, and promote work-life balance. My role includes conducting mental health workshops, providing one-on-one counseling, and helping employees develop resilience in a fast-paced industry.
At Karuna Care Education (ISKCON), I serve as a Psychologist, offering mental health services with a focus on emotional and spiritual well-being. I work closely with individuals and groups, integrating psychological principles with a compassionate, holistic approach to personal growth and healing.
